Who i am in Christ

because of what He has done

I am forgiven…

Romans 8:1... There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.                           

Romans 8:38-39…For i am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to seperate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our lord.

Forgiven, what a beautiful word! We are forgiven of all, not a few, but all of our sins. This was only possible because of Jesus The Christ and His total sacrifice in the shedding of His Blood. Christ went to the cross willingly in obedience to His Father and love for us.

Christ was slain before the foundations of this world were laid in the mind of God. He knew when in the future this would come to fruition. God's Word tells us, in Isaiah 53:10 “Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for quilt; he shall see his offspring ; he shall prolong his days; the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.” 

Christ was the propitiation (in place of) for us. The cross was ours to bear for our sins, but Christ went as the Sacrificial Lamb in our place, and here I say,  Praise the Lord! Now as believers, we are able to stand holy and righteous, to be seen by a Holy God through the veil of the Blood of Christ. What a great God we serve!
